Whether you are a farmer with one acre or a researcher from a university, the training, farm walkthrough and all knowledge shared at Arivuthottam are completely free. This has been a core value since 2012.

Everyone is welcome — practising farmers wanting to reduce chemicals, agricultural students, school and college groups, families, NGOs, researchers and urban professionals interested in organic farming. There is no eligibility requirement. Groups of any size are accommodated.

What are the visiting hours?

Arivuthottam is open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm — by prior appointment only. Walk-in visits are not recommended as the team needs time to prepare for your visit. Morning visits between 8am and 11am are ideal — the farm is most beautiful and cool in the early hours, and demonstrations are freshest then.
