After 36 years in banking at Katpadi, Vellore, K. Senthamizh Selvan witnessed farmers drowning in chemical-related debt and decided to act. In 2012, at age 60, he mortgaged his home for ₹40 lakhs, purchased 3 acres of degraded land near Latteri and transformed it — through sheer determination — into a thriving certified organic farm. Zero income in year one. By year four, 4 tonnes of mangoes and 10,000 coconuts annually. His story has been featured by Times of India, The Better India, ABP Live Tamil and Polimer TV (4,00,000+ views).

Umanath Selvan, known by his pen name Vizhiyan, is a Tamil children's literature writer, mathematics popularizer and education reform contributor. He has authored 68 books and 335 short stories, actively building reading habits and promoting mathematical thinking among children across Tamil Nadu. He also explores AI in Education — bridging technology and learning in the Tamil context. A software professional with 22 years of IT experience, currently at CGI, Chennai for 17+ years. At Arivuthottam, he leads technology, outreach and growth initiatives.
